Achieving demanding strategic and creative targets, Yiannis has been recognized as one of the most influential communications professionals in the world, listed in the PR WEEK Global Power Book of Communications 2016. In February 2017 he was honored to be amongst the top leaders of the PR industry in the MENA region (PRCA) and In January 2018 Yiannis was named “Face of the Year in Management and Innovation” in Greece. Yiannis is Regional Managing Director of Golin in the Middle East and North Africa: an American IPG PR, Digital and Social Media company, contributing intensively in developing not only the brand itself, but also the entire industry. Yiannis is also a jury in numerous Advertising, Digital and PR awards like EFFIE MENA, PRCA Awards. In parallel, he has been an Adjunct Professor at Zayed University in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and Visiting Professor in Cornel University in New York - USA. teaching Strategic PR at the Post Graduate Program of Communications. He is also one of the founding members of National Advisory Council of Zayed University. In September 2018 Yiannis published his a study on “Digital narcissism and Subjective Well-being” that has already received international interest.
