David Lang is an Emmy award-winning television producer who has brought his talents to the marketing world as Chief Content Officer of Mindshare, NA, while also overseeing the entertainment group at the agency. In this dual role, Lang oversees all creative development & production, strategic marketing and partnerships in the entertainment-marketing arena, as well as focusing on the creation of new economic models. He also Chairs the GroupM Center of Excellence on Content. From Cannes to Effies, he and his team have garnered more awards than any other content group in North America. Personally, Lang has been honored as a Media All-Star, a Media Maven, an Internationalist, named to Ad Age’s Entertainment A-List and honored as the “Content Innovator of the Year” by the Content Council. As Chief Content Officer, Lang has built out an extensive Content Studio, which includes content strategy, content marketing, multi-platform development & production, native & editorial content, social & real-time content creation and DCO, all the way through content optimization. As a former television EP, Lang understands the creative process and has extensive relationships in front and behind the camera. Simultaneously, his experience as a marketer allows him to develop strategically grounded, cross-platform campaigns that create business impact for clients.
